I’d like to hook an AC motor straight to the rear differential. The answers I’ve found said that it would be like taking off in 4th gear all the time, this is true for an average vehicle with about 3. They just threw a compatible capacitor in with the motor along with a very crude generic? The capacitor is not attached to the motor it’s just loose in the box. I was going to band it right to the top of the motor if I got it working but I wasn’t sure if it would have to be insulated from the motor or if it could be mounted right to it without insulating it.
